Death Again

How many times do we die in a lifetime? Osho said we die with every out breath. Think about that one. I like that. It means that every breath allows each of us an opportunity to begin again.

Sometimes I meet people that I really admire. My Autistic nature leaves me somewhat naive at times and I struggle to find fault with these perfect beings that come into my life. You may see them as musicians, teachers, Artists, poets, facilitators, etc, whereas I see perfection. And that is total BS!

It’s not good or right to hold anyone to such a level, because we are all only human with feet of clay. Even Jesus and Buddha went through trails of earthly temptations. Everyone is allowed to mess up. They say Gandhi beat his wife, Mother Theresa went through a dark night of the Soul where she doubted her very faith.

Truth is, we are all going to mess up sooner or later, cos we are all simply human.

Being a person who is walking a spiritual path, doesn’t mean you won’t say ‘f@ck’ or get 😤. It doesn’t mean that you won’t always get it right. Sometimes, even when you do the best outcome for you, it’s not the best outcome for someone else. That’s life. I believe every time I get it wrong I died again, sometimes I choose to die, then I choose to live again. The good news is the space between resurrections are getting longer. So in the name of all that is real …

Let’s all give each other a f@cken break.

Me and Suzie Dog

“Death Again

I died again last night, alone in my kitchen.

Listening to favourite tunes on Spotify.

You see the moon was full and it was time to go.

A bottle of Honey Jack and Suzie dog looking at me,

eyes pleading for walks.

But the moon was full.

A time for death.

Loving on the music,

Dancing out old Egoic behaviour.

Hips swaying

Arms waving

Hair shaking

Breathing in the clarity of who I am.

Last night the moon was full.

I took on a madness

A crazy kinda sadness

And drank Honey Jack from a pint glass.

Dancing alone in my kitchen.

Hips swaying

Arms waving

Hair shaking

Releasing, releasing, releasing.

This morning I lapsed into rebirth

All new again.
